March 2019 saw me become a Registered Marriage Celebrant and do my first wedding. I went home and it took hours to come down from that high. I had found my dream job.
My plans were to hopefully do two or three weddings in my first year but I was absolutely blessed to do 8 and help one of my fellow Celebrants with his best friends wedding. I was also thrilled to be asked to do a Naming ceremony.
Getting to know couples and their stories is such a special connection. Being able to marry friends, their children or your son's friends is an honour.
