March 2019 saw me become a Registered Marriage Celebrant and do my first wedding. I went home and it took hours to come down from that high. Who was to know that I had found my dream job.
My plans were to hopefully do two or three weddings in my first year but I was absolutely blessed to do 8 and help one of my fellow Celebrants with his best friends wedding. I now have done more than 200 ceremonies and I love it more than ever it is definitely the best job ever.
Getting to know my couples and hear their love stories is such a special connection. Then they trust me to share that story, their love story with their loved ones on their wedding day. For me being able to marry friends, their children or your son's friends is an honour and also very emotional.
